During my recent transit in Hasselt, I chose to stay at Hotel Het Menneke, and it proved to be a convenient choice. its proximity to the nearest airport, which is only 33 km away, made my travel plans much smoother. The easy accessibility allowed me to reach the hotel quickly and without any hassle. I was pleasantly surprised by the soundproofing of the rooms. Despite some guests arriving late at night and making noise, once they entered their rooms, I could no longer hear a thing. This ensured a peaceful and undisturbed sleep during my stay.

If I had to mention a minor negative aspect, it would be the absence of a rainshower in the bathroom. While the provided shower was adequate, having a rainshower would have enhanced the overall experience and added a touch of luxury.

The wooden staircase and corridor were a bit noisy, and there was no soundproofing of the rooms towards the corridor, which can be a bit disturbing if you are a light sleeper. The wifi signal was a bit weak at times, but usually worked well.
